This beautiful frog is an aussie native found on the east coast of Australia from mid-New South Wales up into tropical Queensland.
This species is active at night as this is when its prey, primarily moths and other winged invertebrates are most active.
During the summer months males will make there way down to water to call for a female.
That is exactly where this beauty was perched, just catching his breath in preparation for a big night of singing.
