The peron's tree frog is known by quite a few common names, but the most common to my knowledge are the emerald-spotted tree frog and laughing tree frog.
This is a fairly common species with a distribution from northern Victoria into southern Queensland.
Peron's have the ability to change their colouring from light grey to a darker brown with green flecks, hence the name emerald-spotted tree frog. The laughing tree frog name is associated with their call.
